The Artisan Food Guild is a Phoenix based food network that celebrates great food and beverages and the people who create them. We have always wanted to tell the stories of these artisan food makers through the eyes of local visual artists. Our inaugural 2016 Artisans Spirit Calendar reflects that vision. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
Barbara Dahlstedt is an art educator and award winning colored pencil artist. She met personally with each food artisan you see in our calendar, did a photo shoot in their business space, and then created an original colored pencil portrait that we have reproduced for your viewing pleasure. The originals are on display at the Artisan Food Guild Community Market, which is located at 2325 N. 7th Street, Phoenix, Arizona. Come visit us Monday - Friday from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm and on Saturday from 9:00 to 5:00. The market is closed on Sunday.
